Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County Hosts Household Hazardous Waste Collection PLUS Secure Shredding Event

Valparaiso, IN – Good News Porter County!! The Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County will host their next Household Hazardous Waste Collection PLUS Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at Neighbors’ Educational Opportunities building located at 5201 US-6, Portage, IN from 9am to 2pm CST. Participants are asked to enter at Wilshire Drive.   Secure Shred Document Disposal will be at this collection event. Porter County residents are encouraged to drop off old documents
